"We are bound together not only by a common border but a common future," Texas Gov. Rick Perry said

Common future, Perry? Does that mean you see Texas becoming more like Mexico?

Breakfast Discussion with U.S. Senator John Cornyn(at the Council of the Americas)

On Thursday, June 30, the NABC members met, at its new offices, for a private breakfast discussion with Senator John Cornyn (R-TX).

Senator Cornyn discussed North American integration and competitiveness issues along with immigration reform, labor visas and Canada/U.S./Mexico economic investment.

***

The Council of the Americas is a member of the North American Competitiveness Council, which supplied the framework for the creation of the SPP. Note that this breakfast occurred June 30, on July 4th, Independence Day, Cornyn submitted the bill that would create the North American Investment Bank, a key tool for the integration. This bill was pulled after the public demanded it. Cornyn implied that he was ignorant that the bill would assist in the North American integration. Yeah senator Cornyn, ......right.....
