This was reason #1 why I left California. We fought this and we fought this and all we got was our children being diagnosed ADHD. They only escaped because we remonved them from the school system altogether and home-schooled them. It has been war in CA over these issues for several decades now.
Personally, I find these bills to be the last act of desperate immature superannuated children. What remains to be seen is if those who have remained in CA have the cojones to rise up, take up the cudgels and put the fascists down, or will they supinely lay back and be Nunez' willing executioners?
How terrifying. Yet the ACLU and their ilk think the threat to our civil liberties comes from Bush spying on terrorists?? If these people were to gain power at the national level how soon will it be before people on the right are thrown in gulags.
If Schwarzenegger signs this outrage then I hope he gets beaten on Nov 7.
