Bob,

Relax a little. If the Dems got both houses, they still would not in their wildest wet dreams control 2/3 of the Senate, and it takes 2/3 of the Senate to remove a President. A Dem House would futz around with impeachment hearings, with Conyers leading the way, but I'm not sure that they could muster a majority. If they did, it would be a joke, and Bush, after surviving it, would come out stronger, as would the GOP.

I agree with you on all points. I keep saying that if President Bush is tried to be impeached then every President from here on out will have some sort of impeachment investigation. This will be the ultimate payback for the Clinton impeachment investigation that the dems want. I am more worried about the future Presidents than President Bush (he is strong and will do fine). I just don't want the country having to go through Presidential investigations every four years or so.
