They'll lose. They assume that gun manufacturing is a high tech industry. It isn't. Any decent mechanic can manufacture guns. A homemade full auto 9mm can be turned out much cheaper by a bootleg shop than a legal manufacturer. Getting rid of guns will be the same as trying to get rid of drugs.
