Bruce Springsteen leaves wife for 9/11 Widow

Bruce Springsteen has left his wife of 20 years to pursue a relationship with a 9/11 widow. Bruce met the mysterious redhead at a 9/11 telethon and instantly fell for her. He had to tell his wife, Patti Scialfa, that he was leaving her for this new chick.

A friend of Bruce's said: "They're separated, but everyone has been sworn to secrecy. We're not supposed to talk about it."

A rep for Bruce refused to comment.

Could we have some folks post a series of Springsteen & Kerry photos from the 2004 rallies (like Madison, WI)? That way, when he does the same thing in the 2008 election, we can be reminded of the "family values" campaign surging full steam ahead.

I am not much on rumor mongering -- but I will have the answer to this soon. My best fried is a Springsteen relative.

BUT -- far more interesting than that -- my brother dated a 9/11 widow from Jersey last year. She was very nice. (A republican) She came to VA for Thanksgiving with us.

She fits the description exactly -- exactly! (I liked her a lot -- though I don't see her breaking up an existing marriage -- but one never knows.)

Looks like I have this one covered from both sides. Should know something soon.

No, his first wife was actress Julianne Phillips.
They had no kiddoes. He left her in '88 or '89
and picked up with his lead singer, Patti Scialfa.
Following their marriage in '91, he fled to
Hollywood, sired three kids by Patti in three
years and kept trying to repeat the success of
BORN IN THE USA. IMO, he never did.

If you consider the guy is now 55, he seems
to have been looking to return to his golden
years prior to the big 4-0 candled birthday cake
in '89. It happens to a lot of men who start
brooding about life passing too quickly.
