Bruce Springsteen has left his wife of 20 years to pursue a relationship with a 9/11 widow. Bruce met the mysterious redhead at a 9/11 telethon and instantly fell for her. He had to tell his wife, Patti Scialfa, that he was leaving her for this new chick.
A friend of Bruce's said: "They're separated, but everyone has been sworn to secrecy. We're not supposed to talk about it."
A rep for Bruce refused to comment.

I always assumed Springsteen was a slime. Good to know that my intuition is in pretty good shape.

Ya, the biggest thing to ever hit Lake Oswego. LOL
Supposed to be the biggest fairy tale since Lady Diana. When he dropped her two years later, I stopped listening to his stuff. Wasn't hard. He lost his "real man" status. I was never a hardcore Springsteen fan. I have a hard time taking ANYBODY that seriously - as he takes himself.
This was before he has shown him to be the big Lefty he is.

Let us know what you find out. Bruce & a Republican would be like something from News Of the Weird. Must be another redheaded widow.
To: Grendel9
he seems to have been looking to return to his golden years prior to the big 4-0 candled birthday cake in '89. It happens to a lot of men who start brooding about life passing too quickly. He's been brooding since at least his 30th birthday concert, when he was presented a cake, which he promptly threw into the audience. He didn't even slice it first!

Hey, Uta, do you know how often you're in my crossword puzzles? And all this time I've wondered if you were still alive. How nice! You're HERE.

But she then wrote a kiss-off and tell book. I had heard that it was the opposite, that she was given a huge settlement with the agreement that she would never discuss the reasons. What's the name of the book?

Does this mean that Ann Coulter was right?
To: Rocko
I remember hearing that she was/did. It was back when that was the really popular thing to do. Beyond that, I didn't care. What happened to her career?

As far as I know, her career is living on her settlement.

He was born in Long Branch and grew up in Freehold.
[and yes, there was a time when I made "pilgrimages" to the Park in hopes of catching him or Southside Johnny in an impromptu performance at The Stone Pony. /horrible, embarrassing confession].....;D

this jack@ss That's way too kind for my thinking. There are a number of pieces of $hit in the entertainment area, e.g., the dixie chicken$hits, but the bruce is the sorriest of the lot in my book.

Have not confirmed any redhead yet -- but it is not my brother's ex-girlfriend, as it turns out.
Still waiting to confirm this rumor from the Springsteen family side.
To: NautiNurse
I guess this is another case of life imitating art.
To: Salamander
Long Branch isn't exactly a ghetto either. Now
West Long Branch...

She had a fairly busy acting career in the early '90s. She had a starring role in the TV series "Sisters" which ran for 5 years. But the roles started drying up after that.
