Ken Chase Against Ammesty
MACares

Dear Mr. Chase,

As you are no doubt aware, illegal immigration is the number one issue confronting voters in the upcoming election. Americans want our immigration laws enforced. Additionally, recent polls show that an overwhelming 80% of Americans oppose any form of Amnesty, regardless of the worthless euphemism the Administration or Legislature try to call it. We believe that you can defeat Senator Kennedy, IF you make this a one issue campaign. Mr. Kennedy would have no defense!

Voters across America consider immigration, not Party or other political persuasions, as the one deciding factor that will guide their vote in the upcoming election. In an effort to help voters choose which candidates they will vote for in November, as well as in 2008 and 2010, we are inviting ALL candidates, in every State and District in this country, to sign a pledge to uphold and enforce our existing immigration laws and to forego any attempts to enact an amnesty or guestworker program of any sort. This pledge is called the America First Contract. We have included a copy of the America First Contract below. A printable copy is available here. http://alamoalliance.org/contract.html

Americans are tired of double-talk, pandering and outright lying by our elected representatives when it comes to the immigration issue. We are tired of Congress refusing to adequately fund enforcement of our existing immigration laws. We are tired of writing letters, calling and faxing our elected representatives, only to have our voices ignored. So, the purpose of this letter is not to try to persuade you to vote any particular way on any particular legislation; we already know which of you will listen to us and which of you will ignore us. The sole purpose of this letter, and the America First Contract, is to give those legislators who still have a conscious and who are willing to do what is right for America and who are running for office in the future, the opportunity to prove to their constituents that they are committed to ending the illegal immigration nightmare by enforcing our immigration laws.

If you are in favor of enforcing our immigration laws, we urge you to sign the America First Contract, and to return it to us as soon as possible so that the voters in your district can be aware of your commitment to upholding the rule of law.

If you are against the rule of law, if you are one those traitorous politicians who will only pander to the corporate appetite for unlimited cheap labor, who feel that they can ignore the will of the American people, we urge you to pack your bags because your political career will be cut short.

It will be documented on our website that you have received a copy of this agreement. It will be documented whether or not you decide to sign, for all to see.

America First Contract

The undersigned, ___________________________________, a candidate for the

name of candidate

___________________________________________ of the

House of Representatives/Senate

United States, for the State of _________________________,

District______________ hereby swear and give my

solemn promise to the People of my State that, if elected:

During my term in office, I will vote against any legislation that weakens our current immigration laws in any respect or allows for increased immigration, increased guest workers or any form of amnesty. Amnesty shall be defined as any law that allows people who are in this country illegally to do anything other than leave the United States .

Within the first 30 days of my term in office, I will co-sponsor and vote for legislation to adequately fund enforcement of our existing immigration laws.

Within the first 60 days of my tem in office, I will co-sponsor and vote for legislation to build a security fence along the entire southern border of the United States , with the exception of areas where it would be impossible to build such a fence. In areas where a fence is not feasible, I will vote for other security measures as deemed adequate to secure those areas. I will also vote to appropriate any and all funds necessary to accomplish this.

Within the first 90 days of my term in office, I will co-sponsor and vote for legislation to properly define the 14th Amendment to apply only to the children of people who are legal residents of the United States . Said legislation will specifically state that the intent of the 14th amendment was NEVER to have applied to the children of people who were in this country illegally and is therefore retroactive.

Within the first 90 days of my term in office, I will co-sponsor and vote for legislation to deny any and all government benefits to people who are in this country illegally and to provide tort reform so that hospital emergency rooms can turn away non-emergency cases without facing lawsuits for doing so and to provide that no liability, criminal or civil, attaches to any emergency facility for refusing to treat non-emergency cases.

Within my first 120 days in office, I will co-sponsor and vote for legislation requiring valid proof of citizenship of any and all persons registering to vote and proof of citizenship in order to vote in our elections.. Said legislation shall provide that any U.S. citizen who cannot afford it shall bear no cost for providing said proof of citizenship.

This agreement shall take into consideration that proposed legislation may or may not come up for a vote and the undersigned candidate bears no responsibility if above legislation does not come up for a vote.
