Not anymore, and frankly not for some time now. The NY Times went over to the dark side around 1994, during Clinton's first term. Their bias and arrogance began the decline, it's only a matter of time before 'Pinch' Sulzberger, and others, high up on the NY Times masthead are gone. The NY Times will survive in some form but will never experience the prestige it once had ... that is over.
The NY Times was slime back during WWII. It has always been a Marxist rag sheet and will be to the day its doors are closed down and it press facilities converted into childs party centers.
Maybe, but it won't be because of this lad. I won't even line the litter box with it, let alone read it.
Hell, I don't even go to their website to read the free stories, let alone register for their trash. I begrudge them even the single hit. :)

LA Times changed fairly quickly for the worse, in the 90s.
Once a centrist paper, it is now usually left. So I wrote my complaint and cencelled.
They contacted me to continue, but I said no thanks. Can't pay you for your editorials and edi-news.
My local paper is the venerable OC Register. Once Conservative, now libertarian. Against fighting muslims, and for legal drugs.
They use NYT edi-news feeds.
I wrote them to complain, but they didn't answer. Soon I will likely cancel them, too.
That will be two paper newspapers I stop paying for.
