The article doesn't mention whether the rabbit was wild or tame. Have people forgotten a lot ove the years? When I used to hunt rabbits, it was common knowledge that one never picks up a wild rabbit with bare hands. Rabbit Fever was known to be fatal.

NO, they ARE terrorists. These are the same ones bombing research facilities, threatening researcher's families, destroying public and private property.

Beating an animal does not equal hunting an animal. So I disagree with your comparisons.
How abou the anti-gun nuts that call in death threats to 2nd amendment politcal supportors. You know those non violent people like the President of Brady that shot an innocent man and put him in a wheelchair.
That's fine, except that I wasn't equating or comparing the two. I was trying to show the absurdity of the "animal rights activists'" viewpoint - they rejoiced at this guy's death for picking up a rabbit...as opposed to beating it (obviously wrong to any normal person) or killing it in a hunt (only wrong for those opposed to hunting, which I am not).
