The prophets used a figure of speech, "uncircumcised in mind and heart," to describe Jews whose "faith" didn't reach into the nitty-gritty of their lives. It might be more useful today to say "contraceptive in mind and heart," unwilling to give and receive life. Excellent point! I promise to plagiarize it and use it widely!
