Well,I agree. There is a real sense of entitlement going on today and it goes beyond the ghetto underclass.Maybe an"only the strong survive"ethic needs to be implememted.Sink or swim and then see ya in the next life if you can't make it in this one.
Not Maybe...
It is soon going to be too late, and there won't be anyone to turn out the lights! As a Christian, I believe in charity. I practice it.
As a taxpayer, I pay more than necessary, and I see no reason to CONTINUALLY subsidize charlatans and parasites. We saw a perfect illustration of the damage caused during the fiasco in NoLA. People wanderd withour direction because they never were taught how to fend for themselves.
What's worse, is the entitlement that FEMA has brought to us. When anything happens to anyone now, you can expect a smiling face with a checkbook. The checkbook gets bigger for FOW! I voted for the spendthrift, and his buds. It was bad enough that Reagan agreed to the EITC, but at least we got something for it, besides a overflowing barrel of Mexicans, and empty barrels of oil.
I live in WV, a little more than an hour from DC. If something happens there, the throngs will head west towards us. I hope they don't show up on my doorstep looking for a handout. My pantry is stocked, I have water stored, and I am locked and loaded! They will not be welcome here.
I am not worried about me or mine... God can sort out the rest of them!
