He grew up in Jordan, and is commonly described as Jordanian, but his family is considered Palestinian, and he had a hatred for Israel that was profound, even by extremist standards.

Yet again. There is no such thing as Palestinian. All they are is Arabs that have migrated from other areas, such as Jordan, Egypt etc.. And yes. Some that have lived in situ for literally hundreds of years on little plots of land. This crap about a Palestinian state etc., is a synthesis. When the State of Israel was officially created agreements as to who would live where, where agreed upon. The Nazi's that escaped being tried and hanged, who where in the area started from day one to rile up local Arabs.
The rest is history.
