The idea that Condi Rice can be considered as a legitimate candidate to run for President as the nominee of one of the two major parties seems incredulous to me. It doesn't speak well of our political system

Hey, I know what let's do; let's keep nominating do-nothing politicians and get in a bigger mess, greater National Debt, bigger spending, corruption and pork......

Yeah, right and Condi will change all of that by herself. The GOP has been fairly successful in nominating winning candidates. It will be up to the voters in the primaries to select the candidates. Condi must run to win. If she wants to make a serious run, she will have to start soon. She should resign as SecState at least a year to 18 months before Nov 2008 to put together a campaign team and start raising money. She is running out of time.
