NYC, crack head, child molester

Actually, I am against both drugs and child abuse, so you comment doesn't make any sense.

BTW, if you figure Condi's not running, then why don't you stow calling the woman a murderer and find something productive to do?

Listen, I didn't visit this thread voluntarily. I got pinged into it. I generally avoid Rice threads for this reason, but when asked for comment, there is no way in hell I am ever going to be supportive of a Pro-Abortion "Republican" candidate, and you shouldn't either.

Supporting a federal ban on abortion ISN'T conservative

Depends on your definition of conservative, and BTW I a Catholic first.

Condi's pro-abortion. She can never win the primaries.

She is not adamantly pro-abortion - and abortion in not the ONLY issue is the land.

If we're going to be johnny-one-notes, and not realize that curtailing the terrorists trumps all else, for if they aren't stopped, there will BE no "all else" - and all other issues will be mute...we, and our society, will be "aborted".

Figures that a woman who raised a lesbian daughter would endorse a pro-abortion Republican candidate.

OGG!

When I read dribble like this, I wonder if the demonrats are our only domestic enemies - or shoot-ourselves-in-the-footers...

Whenever I see a Secretary Rice for President or Governor Bush (Florida) for President thread I have to keep watch...it's so much fun watching some of the exploding heads.

Incidently, Lynn Cheney is also pro abortion.

I think that if she does make a run for it you'll start to hear from her about mid-'07.

You'll learn, like most of us
to just ignore presidio9

She might just "out-Reagan" Reagan.

Yes, she very well may do just that.

Then you don't know how politics work. Elections are not stamps of a pproval, they are allocations of post-election power. Votes that go to a candidate that can't win are votres to allocate power to the winner. If the GOP nominee is a pro-choicer, Hillary is the Dem nominee and you vote third party or stay home, all you've done is allocate power to Hillary. Backing the pro-lifer in the primaries is great, and I fervently hope the GOP fields a pro-life nominee, but "principled" voting that does nothing practical to stop enemies of the Constitution from taking the reins of our Republic is an exercise for fools.

Yeah, I get it professor. That's what primaries are for, and why you shouldn't be supporting pro-abortion "Republicans" who could inspire a third party conservative run. Of course I'll vote for whomever the Repubicans nominate, but Clinton will probably still win in that scenario.

Colin Powell is the most respected man in America and according to the polls, would win handily over any opponent.

I beg to differ with you as IMO your very wrong on both points.

1. Colin Powell is NOT the most respected man in America, anything but, especially in Republican circles and......

2. Not only would he not win if he ran, his wife wouldn't let him run. Colin Powell does NOT wear the pants in their house, a well known fact by anyone who was associated with them while active military.

Rice is the best choice to win the White House, keeping it in the hands of a true conservative and out of the hands of a socialist (Democrat).

No way will the first female President be pro-choice. So that leaves out both Hillary and Condi.

Its always the media that pushes the abortion vs. the anti-abortion issue. The truth of the matter is that neither Dems nor Repubs will ever have a true sayso in the matter. Thats up to the Supreme Court.............

But because it is the media that pushes the issue, their agenda will be to leverage Rice's pro-choice stand (if it truly is because I have never heard about how she stands on that issue)against the anti-abortion conversatives in an attempt to garner votes for whichever Dem that runs...........

Just like they are trying to prop up McLaim in the hopes that they can get him the Rep nomination then tear him to shreds........

We will agree to disagree. He would win against any putative Rep or Dem challenger.
