A person is not put on earth isolated and alone. Everything we do affects others. You may think a disabled child's life is not worth living but what about the lives that child might touch while he is alive?

Did you ever see the Star Trek episode where some citizen of a utopian society told Geordi LaForge he would never have been allowed to come to term in her world?

He said, with barely contained outrage, "What would give you people the right to decide for me if I wanted to live?"

That's a direct hit for the chief engineer. Who says sci-fi TV rots your brain.

LOL! I have to admit I've never been a big fan of sci-fi. Just not my thing. However, in that case, I believe I could make and exception! :o)
