Abortion is completely selfish.

A person is not put on earth isolated and alone. Everything we do affects others. You may think a disabled child's life is not worth living but what about the lives that child might touch while he is alive?

With people like the poster to whom you linked this isn't about the children slaughtered, it's ONLY about the right of choice for the female 'being forced to provide life support to an unwanted parasitic invader.' Once the mind dehumanizes the victims there is no turning around and rehumanizing, only manic defense of the choice and the road of evil taken for so long. Want proof?... The entire democrat party platform is proof enough, and the blind partisan democrat politicians and voters.

pro-choice chick is already feeding them b/s like (we offer them options besides abortion like adopttion)

Yeah, just like the sales guy at the car dealership offers me the option of going to the bike shop for a Schwinn instead of buying a Cadillac from him.

Her behavior?? I didn't catch the very beginning of the show but how do you know she wasn't raped or something? What if she was raped by someone that had HIV? Should a child that may be born with this disease be brought into this world?

Two questions, ma'am, despite the fact that you smell kinda trollish to me:

1. Even if the answer is "Yes, she shouldn have the right to abort that sickly product of rape," why don't we stick to talking about the 1.2 million or so children aborted for no good reason in this country each year?

2. If you were a child in the womb with HIV, would you want to be ripped limb from limb and disposed of in a trash bin so you could avoid the horror of taking a few pills every day?

Africans didn't choose slavery, Jews didn't choose Auschwitz, Cambodians didn't choose the killing fields, and babies don't choose abortion. Murder is murder if you're sick. Murder is murder if your Daddy was an evil person. Murder is murder, not a procedure.

It certainly shouldn't be considered a comparable option to a loving birth mother.

That needs editing:

It certainly shouldn't be considered a comparable option to a pair of loving, financially and morally stable of birth mother parents.

There, that's better. Compared to a stable two-parent family, single mothers do not provide a good environment to raise a child, period. Emotional expressions about "love" mean little when a child could be just as loved and be better off in every other way.

I'm sorry if not being raised by your birth mother has caused you pain, but you are beyond wrong on this, and I know from persoanl experience.

Holly, in case you're lurking out there, the number of women that use abortion as their method of birth control is probably relatively small. But are you saying that 1.3 million women a year have to abort because their babies are sick or the product of rape? Sorry, not even close.

Most of the women who abort are using it as their backup form of birth control when the primary method fails. Thats the way it really is, so either get real and with the blood on your hands or get on the right side of this.

There's risks in everything we do. Walking outside is a risk..you could be hit by a car. Eating a piece of chicken is a risk...you could get the bird flu and die...whatever!!

Interesting how talks about a doctor--indeed, a whole industry--withholding crucial medical information as if it's the same as the risk I take when I go to KFC and get a chicken bucket. Last time I checked, KFC isn't withholding the fact that there are bones in the chicken.

Did you ever see the Star Trek episode where some citizen of a utopian society told Geordi LaForge he would never have been allowed to come to term in her world?

He said, with barely contained outrage, "What would give you people the right to decide for me if I wanted to live?"

That's a direct hit for the chief engineer. Who says sci-fi TV rots your brain.

LOL! I have to admit I've never been a big fan of sci-fi. Just not my thing. However, in that case, I believe I could make and exception! :o)

I beg to differ. Anyone who is not an adoptee cannot know the lifelong suffering that is done by someone who does not have roots. does not know one single person that they are related to or look like. not to know the biological history, medically or otherwise of their family. to not be able to do a simple family tree in school or completely fill out a form in a doctors office. Not to know what gentic diseases they may be passing on to their own children.

No amount of financial security can fulfill those needs. The remark about two parents is sadly quite a slap in the face to all single parents out there who have done wonderful jobs raising their children.
