The Indians have been at loggerheads with the ROP almost as long as the Jews and the West. The Muslims ruled India for about as long they did Spain. They ruled at least parts of India from about 1000 AD to the beginnings of British rule in the 1700s. In a way they still do, since Pakistan and Bangladesh were part of India until the late 1940s. For 500 of those years most of India was under the Muslim thumb.

The Muslims were in Spain from 711 to 1492, although the portion they ruled varied greatly during that period.

The Muslims are against all Infidels. Supposedly they are supposed to treat "People of the Book" (Jews and Christians) a bit better than others, but in practice they don't seem to do so.

Gurkhas are Nepalese. They do serve in dedicated regiments in the Indian and, more famously, British armies though.

Where they scared the ***** out the Argentine conscripts in the Falklands war.

Last time the Islamic empire was quelled was under the raj of Maharaja Ranjit Singh who crushed the Pathan and Afghan to bring back the gates of Somnath from Kabul which to this day are installed at Harmandir Sahib.

He crushed the Islamics by destroying there will something that the US has the capacity to do but not the will due to the left-leaning cypto-liberal State Department (a.k.a foggy bottom).

Unfortunately although the US invasion of Afghanistan started well it has petered out and the Americans do not have the "brutality" to see it through to its utter conclusion.

Only once Afghanistan is once again occupied and the people freed from Islam and allowed to revert back to their Hindu / Buddh origins will peace come to that region.
