The Islamic Jihadists have established extensive networks in Europe to cause trouble for India bound passenger jets.
International travel experts call for avoiding Europe as any stop while travelling from US or elsewhre to India.
The Pakistani jihadists are targeting these planes. Any plane originating from Europe to US or India or Israel can be dangerous.
US Northwest Airlines plane bound for Mumbai was turned back to Amsterdam's Schiphol airport on Wednesday accompanied by Dutch fighter planes due to worrying passenger behaviour, officials said.
According to media reports, "Northwest flight number 42 from Amsterdam to Mumbai with 149 passengers returned to Amsterdam when a couple of passengers displayed behaviour of concern," said Northwest spokeswoman Kristin Heinmets, speaking from Minneapolis.
A Dutch air traffic control spokeswoman said the plane was in German airspace when it turned back. A spokeswoman for Schiphol said the pilot had taken the decision.
"We are cross-examining witnesses, passengers and crew," a Dutch police spokesman said, adding no arrests had been made and the passengers were being questioned near the craft, a 273-seat DC10-30 plane.

Umm, which 'international travel experts' are this then? Blatant scaremongering here.
India gets it.
For those of us that went to school decades ago, Mumbai once was called Bombay.
India isn't western or Christian. I guess that means the islamderthals will have to find a new excuse.
You're right. No doubt totally unfounded blatant scaremongering without any factual basis whatsoever. All Muzzie threats are just the fantasies of George Bush & Co.
At one time, India, was dominated by Islam...The Hindus, could classed in the same league as Christians, when it comes to Muslim hate.....
If Ghandi were alive today,he'd be kidnapped and beheaded by muslim psychopaths rather than the way he actually died.

The plane was escorted back to Schiphol by fighter jets Police have arrested 12 passengers from an India-bound flight which was turned back to Amsterdam after a security alert.
The Northwest Airlines flight to Mumbai (Bombay) was diverted "when a couple of passengers displayed behaviour of concern", an airline spokeswoman said.
The US passenger jet was escorted back to Amsterdam's Schiphol airport by Dutch F-16 fighter aircraft.
The pilot took the decision while over Germany, an airport spokeswoman said.
Passengers were being questioned over the incident but no extra security measures are in place at Schiphol.
The Netherlands' national co-ordinator for counter-terrorism said there was no reason to upgrade the country's terror alert level, which is currently at "substantial", the second-highest level.
The airliner was heading for Mumbai with 149 passengers on board, Northwest Airlines spokeswoman Kristin Heinmets said.
A number of the passengers were questioned once the plane landed safely at Schiphol.
"A certain number of passengers are being heard as witnesses to get a clearer picture of what happened," police spokesman Rik Hirs said.
The Dutch news agency ANP quoted a police spokesman as saying 12 people had been arrested, but declined to give further details because of the ongoing investigation.
Security levels at airports across the world were raised two weeks ago after British police said they had foiled a plot to blow up a number of trans-Atlantic flights.
The threat level at Schiphol had returned to normal, airport spokeswoman Pamela Kuypers said.
It would be scaremongering if bomb plots, with honest to god bombs weren't being discovered throughout Europe.
Europe has had their heads in the sand, thinking the terrorist won't hit them, because they didn't support the Iraq war.
Since terrorists go for the easy targets, the countries kidding themselves the most are the easiest to hit.
You won't catch me on a Frankfort to Mumbai flight anytime soon.
The indian terrorism problem is one the liberals won't touch because it doesn't fit well with the "America's fault" explanation.
In reality virtually every country that borders on an islamic country has problems with terrorism. China is an exception but I think they just manage to keep problems quiet. Also China is busy feeding the alligator and will one day get bitten.
"You're right. No doubt totally unfounded blatant scaremongering without any factual basis whatsoever. All Muzzie threats are just the fantasies of George Bush & Co."
And we fight back against those threats by avoiding any flights originating in, going to, or passing through Europe (not so practical for those of us living in Europe anyhow!)?
Can you point me in the direction of any of the 'international travel experts' that the author claims are recomending this maybe?
You are right. By not flying, the terrorists have notched another "win" on their belts. They have so many wins now, the battle is over and we should all go buy prayer rugs and order halal for dinner.
" It would be scaremongering if bomb plots, with honest to god bombs weren't being discovered throughout Europe."
No, it's still scaremongering. European airports are no more vulnerable than any others. Please name some of the international travel experts giving this advice.
" Europe has had their heads in the sand, thinking the terrorist won't hit them"
Yes, we have no experience of terrorism. None at all.
Leno did a bit about this in his monologue last night.
Got a hushed response, but he ploughed ahead anyway saying how we're still battling the same problem hundreds of years later.
Though he's under a short liberal leach, he tries.
I think that's right. The Islamists can not stand to see any land they once controlled be ruled by 'unbelievers'. (I think this thought process has a name in Islam, but I can't recall it.) Because Allah has given them all of the earth to rule, they can't concede control of any portion of it to infidels - especially land they once ruled religiously. They must retake it.

I hate this stuff on a day when my wife is flying. It's domestic, but still.....
