While Newt has an understanding of the issues, I would not vote for him. The ethics problems that led up to his resignation as speaker, as well as his marital or shall I say, extra maratial issues, just leave me with a lot of questions about his character.
Right now I do not know who I'll support and McLaime is not even under consideration.

You're right about Newt's personal life. What I've read (if true) is disturbing and it would definitely come back to haunt him if he ran for President.
