I'm sick of the entitlement mentality from "losers of life's lottery". You want socialized medicine, MOVE TO CUBA! I said NOTHING about socialized medicine. I was objecting to his attitude that young couples starting out should give up their ipods to get health insurance.
He is totally out-of-touch on the realities. Most young couples I know planning families are working their tails off and doing without.

Nothing wrong with doing without...they can survive. Just don't expect others to pay for your health problems.

Most young couples I know planning families are working their tails off and doing without. Sounds like most of us when we started out. My first 2 jobs out of high screwal had no health care. I didn't get health care until I joined the military at 22.
So what's the point? If we made it, they will too.
