The world hates America because they are not like us, don't want to be like us, and fear the corrosive effect of our economic presence in their lands.

If we want to perpetuate a globalized economy, we will need much larger military forces to subdue and subjugate the near-constant peasant and barbarian uprisings which aready are occurring and which will intensify.

Or, we could let lots of peasants and barbarians come here, and change America into something more congenial to their stunted and perverse ways of thinking.

Or, we could drill our own oil and make our own stuff.

I have read several books on French anti-Americanism. It all boils down to the conclusion that it's their problem, not ours. They wish their position in the world was different. Nothing we can do about that.
