The South Korean company can't have a tax write off for donating to the MCDC; it is NOT tax deductible in any way, shape, manner, or form. The MCDC is NOT now,. nor has it ever been a not for profit organization.

You mean Hyundai, Kia and LG and Samsung dont have a US payroll, pay property and personnel taxes on US property, or federal, state and local taxes?

It may be deductible by the US subsidiary as an advertising expense, vs. a charitable contribution, if the recipient org. is not an IRS 501(c)3.
