There have been porno movies available in hotels at which I have stayed. I CHOSE NOT TO WATCH THEM. If I had a child old enough to operate the TV, I would have had the front desk block the 'adult' channels. IMHO, having them turned off should be the default for any room that has minor children registered to stay in them. They should be able to offer it, but they should have to take some precaution that they are not peddling porn to children.

Underage kids can't get a hotel room, you need a credit card or an adult has to reserve the room. Therefore if a parent is in the room or in charge of the room they can turn off the porn.
You can't have it both ways, either we parent our kids the way we want or we give up our rights and let the government do it. I'll choose the first option thank you very much. If you aren't infringing on someone else's life, liberty, or property rights then the govt. has no business interfering in your private life. This is just a distraction, they should be lobbying the govt. to solve the social security problem, defend our natural borders, stop wasting money, etc. This is a useless waste of time and anyone who supports it is wasting tax money, time and is a complete and utter fool.

When I register for a room, the hotel gets my name (and credit card) and asks how many people are going to be in the room. They do not ask if there are going to be any minor children staying there. I do not believe that minors are supposed to be able to register for a room themselves, but I can imagine some trying for various reasons...
As a wiser FReeper than me said that if young people are renting hotel rooms, they are making porn not watching it.
