She moved to Arizona instead of Texas.
Interestingly, both the writer and the subject bear the name "Anushka."
I never heard of the name until now. Maybe I need to get out more.
Interesting. As a U.S. citizen, I suppose she can move anywhere she wants to move. I don't see the problem here.
The term Hispanic is pretty loose, too. My wife is a white Panamanian, and she isn't much like the Mexican illegals we have here. About the only similarity is that she speaks Spanish, but then again so do I. She can't vote yet (citizenship takes years), but she's never going to vote Democratic. :)
non-hispanic white people vs hispanic white people?
seems like someone is playing skin color games.
The real story should be why is California loosing people who actually work for a living?
It isn't just big cities. Small towns are being changed by this plague too. Already many towns in NC have seen the quality of life drop tremendously. Schools that once tested well are now listed as failing under NCLB because a tremendous percentage of the studets don't speak English. You see parking lots with dozens of loitering day laborours. DUI is through the roof and crime is up. It isn't just the cities that have been hurt by this. I fear that unless the borders are closed very soon the America we know will cease to exist. The birth rate you see in these towns is tremendous. I know a lovely woman who teaches kindergarten. Her class is now about 50% hispanic. Ten years ago she didn't have a single one. Grocery stores near me are filled with young hispanic women with two or three babies. Add that growth rate to the millions poring over the border every year and our culture is looking at a grave crisis.
