The only 'moderate' actors from SNL are Norm MacDonald and Colin Quinn. The rest are so far left that they can't see the middle. SNL and the Jon Stewart show have gone so far left that I can't watch any more. Both shows used to be funny because they skewered both sides of the political spectrum. No surprise even Stewart's ratings are down. Not funny anymore.

No surprise even Stewart's ratings are down. Not funny anymore. I think that the first 100 times, liberals found Steward calling Bush an idiot funny. But now, even liberals are catching on to the punchline.

Amazingly, SNL was funny and - as you say - "skewered both sides" - when Al Franken was still associated with the show. His Stuart Smalley character was one of the best SNL bits in the show's history.
