This is truly sad. The old cartoons by Tex Avery, Looney Toons, the old Popeyes, even Hanna Barbera were such amazing works of art. They were also a reflection of the times in which they were created.

Art appreciation, history, and great music lessons abound. My love for classical music came early from watching Tom and Jerry and Bugs (Hungarian Rhapsodie No.2, 1812 Overture, William Tell Overture, Wagner)

But somehow, I was never compelled to smoke or to jump off cliffs or drop anvils. Maybe something's wrong with me...

Popeye will have to go, too. Don't want any kids putting corncob pipes in their mouth and using them as a blow-torch to open up a can of spinach.
