wreckage found in the Ukraine
Nah, that's a "Murdoch Mafia" trademark.
It's not limited to Sky News. Drudge was making fun of FNC's "breaking news" a couple of weeks ago.
The good "news" is that the media has to seize upon real stories, instead of making them up nowadays.
The bad news is that the media seizes upon real stories as if it's the last thing in the world for them.
It also rained hard on my way into work this morning.....revenge of the hydro-mullahs?

Right! Ideas. The idea is for you to get a grip on reality. You're insulting your own intelligence if you think news sources are going to hold back on a breaking news story. What is about the word "competition" that you don't understand?
that's all right -- they serve all the vodka you can drink so you don't care if you crash or not!
Prayers for the souls of those killed, and prayers for the families and all involved.
FOXNews.com has a real non-article on this.
First thing I thought of. Regardless, how sad for those on the plane.
I understand you...
Ukrainian rescuers have found Russia's crashed Tupolev Tu-154 plane 40 kilometers northwest of Donetsk in a hard-to-reach area, Ihor Krol, ...
The plane...is ablaze... rescuers... including fire brigades, are heading to the crash site.

Flight 612...The three-engine Tu-154 is the workhorse of Russia's commercial fleet, carrying about half of all Russian air passengers...designed as the Soviet counterpart to the Boeing 727 and the European-made Trident, but with the added ability to operate from short, rough runways. About 1,000 were produced...involved in at least 30 air disasters since it went into service in 1968.http://www.cnn.com/2006/WORLD/europe/08/22/russia.crash/
Bump!
Flew from Kiev (Borispol) to Sevastopol last year with friends. Told them that if we wnet out on the tarmac and saw a Russian Built plane (aka JUNK!) that I wasn't going under any circumstances. Fortunately it was an old (very old) Boeing product that looked like it had been painted with a roller and paint brush (could still read the former airlines name!!). Yankee built is still the best!
What's the problem? In Afghanistan, they did. And the Russians went home beaten.
...third major plane crash in the region this year... 124 people died when an Airbus A-310 of the Russian carrier S7 skidded off a runway... on July 9 in the Siberian city of Irkutsk...On May 3, an A-320 of Armenian...crashed into the Black Sea while trying to land in the Russian...city of Sochi...killing all 113 people aboard.http://www.baltimoresun.com/news/nationworld/bal-russia0822,0,723300.story?coll=bal-nationworld-headlines
check out the links at post 45. They were pulled off the planes...turned over to a security officer...who without checking them out let them back on...he got seven years for negligence
"Yeah....planes that go BOOM don't normally have the luxery of time to call anyone"
Unless a fire was ignited in the cabin. There would have been a few minutes to make an emergency call.
