"Are you a FREE Baptist as your name implies?"

I am free, and I am a Baptist. I believe in Baptist churches being FREE from outside denominational/hierarchical control or coercion. I believe in autonomous local churches (regardless of name on the sign).

I emphasize what has been called, historically, by Baptist peoples and others as well, "THE INDIVIDUAL PRIESTHOOD OF THE BELIEVER;" that each genuine believer (regardless of label) has the Holy Spirit indwelling him/her, and needs only our High Priest Jesus Christ, Who is seated at the right hand of God the Father. We need NO earthly priests at all. Each believer is Complete in Christ (Col. 2:10), and has instant 24/7 access to the Throne of Grace. New Testament pastors/bishops/elders are NOT priests over others, and they should not act like priests.
