The traitor, Pinch Sulzberger, publisher of the New York Times.

In 1968, he famously declared that in a confrontation between an American and a North Vietnamese soldier he'd want to see the American get shot. His own father, "Punch," who was then the Times' publisher, considered his son's words treasonous.
