One thing that is not questionable is that foisting these two liberals upon religious conservatives isn't going to go over well at all.

Nobody is going to be "foisted" on religious conservatives.

But, if Guliani or McCain prevails, one has to assume that some number of religious conservatives supported them.

You're correct. They're not. Which leaves me to wonder, why attempt doing so, to attract votes? Does someone think the grass is greener without? Looks that way.

We religious conservatives and gun owners can hold our collective nose and vote for McCain if he's nominated, due primarily to the national defense issue. But I for one will not vote for Rudy under any circumstance, and I think I speak for millions of other pro-life and pro-2nd Amendment Republicans.

If we absolutely HAVE to have someone in the Oval Office who is a liberal advocate for gun banning, abortion "rights", homosexual special "rights", etc, etc, and who will appoint judges and Justices of the same stripe as him or her self we may as well have a Democrat one as a Republican one.
