I would say that the RATS are just plain stuck, stuck with their barking-moonbat-leftwing.

The moonbats controlling the party require 100% compliance on abortion,queer marriage,affirmative action,public schools,tax the rich,anti-war,eco-wackism,and massive socialism. Only on gun control have they learned they must bend somewhat on their goal of a total ban.

Now where does any sane former Rat go if they don't fit in that platform? They have no choice but to vote Republican, or go with one of the turd parties with no chance of winning anything.

The information age, and the "New Media" they thought was going to give them an edge, did exactly the opposite. Its a boon to the Republicans as more people read the twaddle those controlling the RATS party spew.
