Jim Robinson has informed the D.C. chapter that he and Syncro will be at the D.C. Chapter's real big SUPPORT THE TROOPS RALLY for September 23,2006. On this thread are numerous hotels and directions, so look through the posts. Jim Rob is also planning to be at Walter Reed the night before.

The event will be opposite Cindy Sheehan's trip to D.C. Last year's rally was a success for such short notice. Now you have advance notice. The troops need to see that we support them. They are getting tired of the driveby media throwing mud on everything they do.

Also, we need good crowds at Olney the next several weeks to help cover both corners. If you can make it, we would appreciate your presence. It might be a little dull without the moonbats there, but all the waves and honking are invigorating.

RE: Olney FReep -

If you live in northern VA and want a short cut to Olney, Check out Post No. 39. It's an easy 20 minute drive from the American Legion Bridge.

A special Thanks to BufordP for enhancing the original plain type directions.

Great report on "Olney Part Two".

Didn't even know about the "3-fer" club. Great to be included with such patriots.

I'll quote from various parts of your great report in italics.

If you "qualify" as a 3Fer since Sept. 24,2005, let me know and we'll add you to the list.3Fers are those FReepers who have attended a three FReeps in 3 days, with no full days between the FReeps. We don't want the FReepers to rest up, talk to their spouses or get caught up on their work.<[underline emphasis added]

Mr. T, rookie, you exclude us old timers. We were 3Fers when "you were barely a glint in Jim Robinson's eye" in BufordP's memorable phrase from last Friday. Our lawyers of Squeezem, Squeezem, and Makempay will be touch. :)

We don't want the FReepers to rest up, talk to their spouses or get caught up on their work. Just A Nobody is a 5Fer.

You drive them like rented mules, below. Great work!

Fantastic FReep, thanks for this wonderful post. I love the sign, "Where is the protest against violent jihad"?
You FReepers are awesome! Thank you for being there to support our troops.

Confused Moonbat is priceless. A perfect example of "cut and run" after aimless wandering and crude cardboard sign placing. What a maroon.

Way to be in Olney, DC Free Republic! Looks like their "strategery" is not working.

For oour enemies like code pink and other like simple-minded socialists:

Protesters

Look around, don’t dwell long,
Some are good, some are not,
Leave them surely in dust that has no song,
They are surely a miserable heart, a sorry lot.
They hate the good that we all know,
What is good and are not faded,
By those who enslave a dimmer glow,
Everyone for their taste must be jaded,
Fools think they are about being free,
While forcing others to do every awful part,
All the while dare not lend a voice to thee,
Who shatters the myths, truth impart,
Of the state man! That’s it, that’s it!
Roll yourself to the state and quit,
Strength and faith—who needs that cry?
Only every man and woman before we die.
Knows nothing real, only personal treasure,
Follows only shallow feelings and pleasure,
Would take what you earn and do,
To give it over to others who,
Would kill the baby, the old, in perfect form,
Would declare God off limits and a new day,
Would shelter inside their own comfort until the storm,
Destroyed him, for it’s the only sure way,
For one who never looked at real, has to die,
And then surely learn. It must be this way, why?
Surely truth always hurts more than the lie,
In their minds, their stagnant hearts belie,
Their lost souls, a man’s greatest gift,
Their own conscience, a tortured drift.
Dismissed by them who do not see,
Difference between animals, thee and me.
It’s hard to know the lost grasp of the key,
When man turned, lost grasp of being free.
Take solace alone, you poor blind,
Time will take you and life forsake,
You’re a selfish whine, a wisp, a broken vine,
Of dead air, nothing left, shadow of a fake,
You were here? I do not recall. Not so,
You’ve spread your lies; I have come to know,
You were but a scream, a voice, a small part,
Now be gone, goodbye, good riddance, depart.

What would make this image

absolutltly perfect, would be if you could get a photo of a BIG dog lifting its leg on the sign to void its bladder.
