A British-based Muslim radical appeared to back suicide bombing yesterday when he claimed that dying for your beliefs was 'just'.

Dr Azzam Tamimi told an 8,000-strong crowd that standing up for your principles was the 'greatest act of martyrdom'. The 51-year-old was speaking at the ExpoIslamia convention in Manchester.

The Palestinian-born academic - who previously boasted he would carry out a suicide bombing in Israel - also repeated his public backing for Hamas, which remains banned in the UK.

He said: "The greatest act of martyrdom is standing up for what is true and just. Martyrs are those who stand up and stand up in defiance of George Bush and Tony Blair.

"The government is trying to turn the war on terror into the war on Islam."

This has never been a war on terror, but a war on islam and it's followers, MUSLIMS.

I'm sure there's a beautiful, steep cliff the Islamo-fascists can run off of, thus completing their earthly missions for Allah.

that's another thing, bury the muslim bastards in pig's blood.

And i don't hate all Muslims. There are good Muslims. They just don't have the spine to confront and take down the islamo fascists that have hijacked their religion for fear that they will be murdered.

"No one ever won a war by dying for his country. The idea is make the other dumb bastard die for HIS country"

There was a thread (that looks like it has been pulled) comparing verses from the Koran with verses from the Bible.

Based on the verses from the Koran, I'd say the fundamentalists haven't hijacked Islam, but rather are following it to the letter.

Good. To paraphrase Gen. Patton our goal is not to die for our beliefs, but to make bastards on the other side die for theirs.

The real object of any war is to make the other guy die for his county, not to die for yours. If these Muslims want to die for their country, they can die all they want, but if they take even a single "infidel" with them, we shouild make their co-horts regret it.

Gen. Patton understood that, Republicans in 2006 understand that and even Democrats in 1966 understood that. Why have the Democrats fallen so far from the tree? The more radical and irrelevant they become, the safer our nation will be.

Two young fellows were removed from a RyanAir flight...to Manchester.
Probably just conincidence, but I can't help wonder if we know why they
needed to catch a flight to Manchester.

The part I am not sure about is what a US citizen who is a Muslim is supposed to do.

1. Leave any mosque where violence is advocated from the pulpit.
2. Inform the authorities of any Muslim (or other sect) who seeks support for religious violence.
3. In discussion forums, point out that when and where enough US people are Muslims, the laws can be changed to enact provision that comporte with the principles of Islam.

Bear in mind, I an not a Muslim, nor a Christian.

Al Queda, in their instructions to young jiadis, were instructed to avoid US mosques, to avoid compromise of their mission. They knew that most Muslims would not support murder of noncombatants.
