It's getting nuts. I had a deputy walk up to my truck at a convience store while I was parked and he told me to put my seatbelt on. I had to explain to him that:
#1 I was not driving.
#2 That I was on private property.

I asked him if he wanted to cite me for an open container and he got excited. I held up my 20 oz Mountain Dew. He explained that only pertains to alcoholic beverages. So now I pour beer into my Mountain Dew bottles and go about my merry way. ;-)

It's not good to drink while driving in CA. There are too many idiots out there to watch out for normally. Wait till you get home or walk. Pay attention on that road. Illegal aliens run red lights. Stay alive.
