Sad to note that a conservative State as Nebraska is unable to send two real conservatives to US Senate.
Even sadder is that the Democrat is more consevative than the Republican.
I live in Nebraska, and the fact we have two fake conservatives has been a long source of frustration for many of us. Like the national Republican party, the Nebraska Republican party is about as bankrupt as it can be. It's more interested in the acquisition and epxansion of its power than it is about actually solving problems or getting things done.
The Democrats, of course, are no better. Somehow, we're going to have to start a third party in Nebraska in order to get a real conservative elected, because it won't be from the Nebraska Republican party.
Sadder than that is the fact that I like the other Senator from Nebraska better, and he's not even a Republican.
