Quite true. The claim made by some that Hagel is a "RINO" does match his pro-taxpayer/small government voting record. Perhaps the pro-Bush folks who are attacking Hagel are the true RINOs e.g. the voted for a man who has become the most pro-big government prez since LBJ.

I want Hagel to run for POTUS in 2008, so when he is thoroughly trounced and embarrassed by his ass being handed to him, he will have no one to blame but himself. For someone as arrogant as Hagel it will be a tough pill to swallow.

Hagel only cares about Hagel and that is becoming clearer each day that passes. Hagel is his biggest fan, and he has the same personality and trait flaws as John Kerry. Except for party affiliation and some political beliefs, the men are identical. Something not to be proud of.

Hagel never meets a TV camera he doesn't like.....yet another career politician prostituting himself as a media darling. He does not sound like a strong conservative to me on TV and has undermined the WH often. Bush has spent like a drunken sailor and weak on the border protection so us 'neocons' dont blindly follow a pied piper but we will hold our GOP pols accountable....Hagel is high on the list as well.

Bush is the first President to openly take on Social Security. His Medicare Rx plan will save the program billions in the long-run. Yes, he has not vetoed a single spending bill and signed that stupid campaign-finance "reform" bill which is very discouraging. But had 9/11 not occurred, Bush did have a laundry-list of proposals that would have overhauled the very structure of the federal government itself. A lot of departments and agencies would have been abolished or consolidated, saving taxpayers billions.

Nope. RINO Carlito Hagel is the Super Rino. Keep voting for him though (especially if you support the illegal 3rd world invasion to the US)
