I've been telling Chuck to do that since 1998, when we met. The media would crucify him, of course, for his evangelical Christianity and his conservative views, but he is very telegenic and handsome and, well, swing voters are pretty flighty and whimsical -- they voted for Schwarzenegger, didn't they -- and he might pull it out. Can't speak for him but my guess is that he does have ambitions for higher office.
