From reading this, one is led to believe that these men appeared to look like Japanese, or Chinese, or Korean. But no mention anywhere of where these men actually were from.
I don't believe for an instant that the media would ever distort the facts, or intentionally mislead people. /sarcasm off>
But imagine these men were Indian or Pakistani. They would be southeast "Asian" men, which sometimes are called Asian.
To most westerners, Pakistani's and Indians are virtually the same. By appearances they are identicle. As they should be, as India and Pakistan used to be one.
But Pakistan and India split. And there seems to be constant tension between the two. The biggest difference between the two is that India is primarily Hindu, and Pakistan is primarily MUSLIM.
So in that light, is it possible that these two "Asian" men were possibly Southeast "Asian" men, who could have been talking in arabic, or similar sounding language.
Also, Indonesia is part of southeast asia, and the people there can more closely resemble what we call asians. And we know that that area is free from any muslim terrorist strife. /sarcasm off>

Ostracizing groups is a very powerful tool. If no one would do business with the Muslimes in, say, Dearborn, MI, how long do you think they'd hang around. Being unwelcome can be very motivating.
How 'bout we have two planes to every destination? On the first, there would be strict racial and ethnic profiling with people from certain terrorist-prone countries getting complete examination and interrogation. On the second plane there would be no profiling. This would be announced clearly in the airport.
Soon the first plane would be full and the second plane would consist solely of people from certain terrorist-prone countries and bleeding-heart liberals.
With the large population of Pakis and Indians in the UK (the Empire strikes back), I believe that their use of the term "Asian" implies southwest Asian while we would infer east Asian (e.g. Japanese, Chinese, Korean). I think this is long-term colloquial use there, not just PC to protect the poor muslimes' feelings.
Very interesting. I'm expecting to see many more such incidents both here and abroad until citizens are assured that our safety isn't compromised by PC bureaucrats run amok.
Nice trick, MSM calling them "Asians" Arabs aren't "Asians". has anyone even seen an Asian(muslim or not) that can grow a thick beard? MSM is trying to make non- muslim "Asians" upset, and also trying to secure the "racism" angle. "Muslim" isn't a race, it's the name Islamic cult followers use to identify with.
What had happened with this not wanting to board the airline because there are muslims on board is a sign that there is a growing backlash by non-muslims because for the latter it is simply all to much true that our leaders will not help because of stupid pc and that the common folks are taking on the fight.
At least the everyday folks know we live in a very post-9/11 world.
Islam, according to scripture is not peaceful all. Jihad is not something the radicals picked out of thin air.

Hmmm. So obvious, and yet so thought provoking, as if it all hinges on this: Is "jihad" a misinterpretation of Islam? This is a rhetorical question -- that is, I'm proposing it as a genuine question to consider.
Either the "radical" muslims are correct in thier interpretation of islam, or the "moderate" ones are. But the moderate ones don't seem to have the moral courage to stand up against the radicals.

Heh. That would never fly because the airlines wouldn't want to continually replace their blown up/crashed planes. They would say they are against a such a policy because it is "racist", rather than admit it would be an economic-based decision.
