(No more Olmert! No more Kadima! No more Oslo!)
McClintock Hosts Workshop in Support of Protecting Property RightsOn Saturday morning, Tom McClintock led a workshop on protecting our property rights. Senator McClintock was joined by Assembly member Mimi Walters, Orange County Supervisor Chris Norby, Orange County Register senior editorial writer and columnist Steven Greenhut and Bob Blue, a business owner of a luggage shop in Hollywood who has been a victim of eminent domain abuse.
This workshop was held to raise the awareness of Proposition 90 and build support for the initiative among Republican faithful. One of the more interesting panel discussions, more than 120 CRP delegates attended the workshop.
Thanks for the ping, cg.
Could Senator McClintock be the subscriber behind the FO account?
It's close. His speech only lacked the word "only" to be a perfect match.
It is a choice between only...That is the only choice for the voters

Then let's give him a big BUMP!
I just don't get this logic. There is nothing to say that the liberal wing of the CAGOP will vote for the down ticket conservatives. I just posted the contributions of one of his most recent "republican" nominees to the UC Regents--who donated to Feinstein this year.
That's sad. I have always liked Mountjoy!!! How could the CA Republican Party be so stupid as to not support his candidacy???
That is the most wretched argument and is simply NOT motivating, but rather humiliating and disheartening, then just plain sickening!!!
and to think if RINOld had kept his nose out of the recall;
McClintock would have been our governor...
well at least the Dodgers are beating the Giants tonight 10-4 LOL
I can't wait to vote for McClintock for governor in 2010 !
make that 10-6
The art of political survival in a democracy, whether direct, federalized or republican, demands compromise.
Those who put their eggs in one basket, one last hope for humanity, could receive a rude awakening if their dreams are realized.
If sworn in on Jan 7, 2011, Governor McClintock could well turn out to be other than expected, if his survival depends on it.
Few US politicians, after the 18th century, have been willing to lay down their political careers for their country or state.
(No more Olmert! No more Kadima! No more Oslo!)
We had an entire Conservative movement that the stupid Clinton Administration and Demonicrats at all levels of government ignited in 1993-4!!! Like dogs chasing cars, the young bucks in the CAGOP didn't know how to govern once they caught up with the cars they had been chasing!!!
They were victims of their own success and of course the Dems just acted like these interlopers would soon be gone and had no right to govern anyways! Most of the un-elected government "officials" concurred with that outlook and helped the Dems at every opportunity!
Compromise wasn't going to do these poor overwhelmed Republicans any good whatsoever!!! They needed a plan, strategery and tactics and some coaching on how to govern and how to compromise and when, if the need should ever occur!!!
The Dem's stategery worked like a charm and soon enough, compromise or not, they were mostly ejected from postions of power post haste and the pissants had their supposed sacred entitlement to rule back in place even though Willie Brown was gone a short distance away...
A "Movement" doesn't need to compromise! Reagan's "Movement" into the Presidency and his "movement" on the Federal legislative body was practically void of compromise!!! And he din't major in the minors, either!!!
So please stop bothering me with all this trite "conventional wisdom" about compromise in politics! It's all about political momentum and movements and tidal waves!!! (and being ready to aggressively govern once you win)
No doubt about it...this guy should have been elected governor instead of the Size XXLarge empty suit that is in office now.
