I spent 17 years overseas, working and living in Europe, Asia, South America, Canada, Russia, ME and never failed to get down on all fours, when I returned to America, and kiss the ground/tarmac/whatever.
The rest of the world is an undulating hellhole, sewer and rampant disease-fest, as compared to America, IMO.
Personally, I prefer Des Moines over Toledo.

It's a fascinating country. As the Thais are fond of pointing out, it's the only country in Southeast Asia never taken over by an invader - though I'm not sure exactly how that squares with some noteworthy Thai landmarks such as Kanchanaburi (with the Bridge on the River Kwai) or Ayuthaya - which was sacked by the Burmese several centuries ago.
They're being attacked by the same Terrorists we're busy opposing. But like Israel - the terrorists are closer.
How about a bit more information, and a bit less flames.

No, I did not do anything related to anything sexual while there. Gasp, I had a great time despite this! Golly gee, you mean Thailand isn't all about buggering children? Ah yup.
If you get the chance, go to Thailand, it's a great country and they like Americans. If I had to pick another country in the world to live in, Thailand would be it.
