Reports from Seoul Korea, (daily newspaper Joongang Ilbo in Seoul) via the Japanese Jiji press agency, that South Korean intelligence has intercepted radio messages/communications in North Korea, which were aired last month, to civilians in the Kilju County, Northern Hamgyeong Province area of northeastern D.P.R.K., to evacuate.
The source in the South Korean government said "our interpretation is that following North Korea's underground nuclear blast test, they wish to head off any escape of radiation that would be a threat to the nearby civilian population and are evacuating as such."

You are absolutely right. Lee was a genius. The man did not have not resources(in both men and material)like the Army of the Potomac but he was able to achieve many things with the meager resources he had.The key to victory is able to keep the morale of your men high and being there with them on the battlefield.Patton and MacArthur are very good examples of this . They were present as the battle was in progress and make battlefield decisions including sharing the drama of battle.Another key to victory is taking calculated risks and bringing the war to the enemy. Lee did that on numerous occasions. Patton, and MacArthur did this also.

Since when did North Korea care about the welfare of its citizens? I have no doubt they'll round up quite a few citizens to act as guinea pigs to test the radiation effects.

The American must ask themsleves do we have the Will? To fight the war on world wide evil? we are at the crossroads our freedoms can be as easily taken as they where given

The will has gone. I believe that we are living in similar political developments like they were in the 1930s. The worlds democracies are asleep on the switch, letting failed world bodies such as the UN(in the 1930s it was the League of Nations) to punish these rogue nations. We need to take actions (alone if necessary) to bring these "mini fascists"in line. If not, something catastrophic is going to happen much more worse than 9/11.

your 100% right American people now could care less they compare Iraq to Vietnam nevermind the fact that we won Vietnam on the ground but the facts are that China and Iran and Russia Syria Pose great Danger to our freedoms you know North Korea is just China's Little pet to be used when ever
the thing about the civil war was that the South had a common cause as did the north they fought each other like hell for there cause's in any case our Army has to ask themselves whats our cause? and will we fight and die for it
if America don't wake up our asses Will Nuked not now but maybe 5 to 20 years from now.

We are a dying breed. We should be saying to North Korea if you test a nuclear weapon you run the risk of war with the United States and and you run the risk of having nuclear weapons dropped on your country. There should be a gigantic military presence off the coast of North Korea to show we mean business. But of course, wars these days are be guided by public opinion and you cannot have that.

North Korea seems to be preparing to conduct a nuclear test in Gilju, North Hamgyeong Province, the U.S. broadcaster ABC on Friday quoted anonymous State and Defense Department officials as saying. They said suspicious movements of vehicles and the unloading of large cables that may be used to connect equipment to observe the test had been spotted in the area.
