Now, that's accurate and reflective of direct democracy in a state where well over 50% of the eligible voters pay little or no taxes.

Government is all about spending other peoples money and controlling other peoples actions ... duh.
BTW - I don't think I've voted for any bond issue in the last 20 years or so, but that doesn't mean I deny the concept.
