Patriots, Arrows, THAAD, etc. are hopefully in place, so that those missiles aren't as much of a threat.

After they're taken out, then launch the counterstrikes. Solves the "ambiguity problem" (i.e., knowing who fired first), and with the political climate in DC these days, that matters.

This is what makes me ponder, "what the Hell are they thinking in Washington", when we know the items you mentioned are common public knowledge. It's not like the nut case isn't telegraphing his every move. Why we take part in the debacle we refer to as the UN is beyond my comprehension. Corruption, a socialist agenda and the constant condemnation of Israel even when Israel is merely defending itself from attack is the standard from Turtle Bay.
