All actors and actresses have publicists. Just because you don't like Mr. Gibson don't make such a ridiculous statement such as that. Alan Nierob is also Denzel Washington's, Michelle Pfieffers, Richard Gere, Jennifer Lopez, and Robert Downey Jr's publicist.
