I presumed you had some basis for offering a diagnosis of senility. In the absence of some credentials, I'll go with Mel, who knows his dad, and states that he not only has all his faculties, but that he has a factual basis for his aberrant opinions.
No, I couldn't care less what Mel says about his dad.
Hutton is a despicable, hateful man.
My opinion, your's may differ.
I do care about Hutton's opinions. Particularly when they get international media attention.
If Mel says nothing, that's his business.
If Mel openly supports pop's opinions as honest or fact based, he's equally deserving of criticism.
"Loyalty" has nothing to do with it.
Perhaps you were thinking of honesty.
I will disagree with you on two points.
Number 1. His views on the Holoacoast are hateful and dispicable. I totally agree with you. But from everything I have heard about him personally as a man and father, he is supposed to be very loving and kind. You can hold dispicable views, and still be loving to your children. I am not excusing the elder Gibson at all, personally I believe that he is a kook, but again from everything I ever heard of him, all of his family adored him.
Number 2. I still say that Mel Gibson is being loyal to his father. Again, that is my opinion. Your opinion is different, and once again there is something with the Mel Gibson critics that will NOT be satisfied until he jams a knife into his Father's back. I wonder why that is???
