GET THIS!!! Just heard on the news break that a 16 year old boy is being charged with unlawful possession of a firearm and assault, because while home alone, someone broke into the kids/parent's home, and the 16 year old went and got the parent's gun, and shot the criminal that broke in!!! And it's the TEENAGER that's being charged. I don't know where this happened, but THAT is just ridiculous. The kid should have just sat there and let the criminal come in and do whatever he wanted I guess, rob the place, beat or kill the kid, and then leave. Maybe even stealing the gun to use to commit some crime against some other innocent person. And if it was a 16 year old GIRL, then rape would have been on the menu. THIS is the STUPIDEST THING I HAVE EVER HEARD!!! That kid should be given a citation, not a record. SHAMEFULL!!! He did what I'd expect my kid to do in that situation I don't care how old they were. I hope some rich conservatives get behind that kid and his family. This is outrageouos.
