The pitching in this series has been terrible. The Sox have sucked and the Yankees have been a bit better. So far three of the pitchers who worked in this series(Johnson, Seanez and Ponson) have been fired by their clubs!!! Wong danced around trouble his entire game, Ponson was a disaster and Randy Johnson was nothing special today. In the series, Boston countered with Jason Johnson (fired), Lester (rookie in AA ball last year) and Josh Beckett who is turning out to be a major bust in the AL. Frankly, Theo Epstein and the front office needs to be held accountable for the decisions that they have made over the past 2 years.
These teams have played some great games in their history but these three have been badly played on both ends. The Sox's pitching problems have been exposed for all to see and while the Yankees did better than the Sox, I am seriously unimpressed by what they have shown in that department.
