Nah, they are probably evil RINOs stabbing her in the back. Aren't you keeping up with these threads?

How many lies did she state just in this short article? We would have had more people here if it was in a different building (nonsensicle). A tree fell on the other building (no it did not). My political supporters were going to be here (no, in fact they said they don't support you; in fact people you list as endorser's demand you remove them from your lists)

She seems to have a talent for rubbing people the wrong way, an unhappy trait in a politician.

Did you actually READ my post? Or did you entirely miss the point?

In politcs, dirty tricks are often played.

Harris could easily have been told, or her staff could have been told that they the venue had been moved for the reason stated. When she repeats the statement she is made to look like a fool Mission accomplished.

A phone call from someone purporting to represent a political figure offering to endorse and stand with you at a rally, your staff acts on it: Whoops! Another embarraasment. Mission accomplished.

How do I know dirty tricks like this exist? Don't ask. Just believe me, I know. In my case, the statute of limitations is my friend- and I don't believe I ever did anything stricly illegal in any case. But I do have some knowledge of such things, my very naive friend.

How are such things countered? With an experineced, savvy staff. Now, just what is it that Katherine Harris doesn't have?

Well, maybe you are catching on.

And just lets get back to your strange perspective. You seem to think that Katherine Harris would make up a cockamamie, easily debunkable, story about a tree falling on a hangar. People may do foolish things from time to time, like deciding to run for the US Senate when the entire power structure of the Republican Party is arrayed against you, but they generally don't do insanely stupid things.

Maybe you need another drink. And pass the popcorn.

Oh, I think she is entirely capable of "insanely stupid things."

Here in the dark blue (northern)section of (purple)FL, Charlie Christ's campaign has invited me to a barbeque at a park near my house featuring...Sen. John McCain. While the airwaves are peppered with Gallagher's ads defining Christ as a RINO.

"Harris spoke in an airplane hangar that seemed to highlight the modest size of the crowd. She said a last-minute location change -- required because a tree fell on the hangar where the event was supposed to be held -- kept crowd numbers down.

Airport officials, however, said no hangar had been damaged by a tree and that the rally was in the hangar that had been originally booked. "

No tree fell? Why on earth is she lying about something so easy to check. There is something wrong with this woman, I'm afraid.

"This week, as Harris made the rounds at a Winter Park political gathering, U.S. Rep. Tom Feeney said he continues to back her, but he does so primarily out of a sense of duty.

"I endorsed Congresswoman Harris a year ago," Feeney said. "I made a commitment, and I'm going to live up to that commitment."

Feeney was then asked why he offered such a tepid endorsement.

"I won't disclose publicly what I said to Katherine privately," he said. "But that notwithstanding, she decided to run."

Moments later, Feeney added, "It's very sad."

It's gotten to the point where her lies are further undermining Pres Bush, for whom she was a key player in Florida's 2000 mess.

"They called back twice and said he'd be here," Harris said. "He said he was going to be here on the stage with me today."

Anyone with half a brain should know that this was done intentionally to Harris by state GOP insiders.

This is getting more and more embarassing by the day.

How is it embarrassing?

Guy calls Harris and says he'll be there, then pulls the rug out from under her and makes her look like a fool to the MSM/RNC.

Unfortunately, Katherine has a habit of not telling the truth.

She said the rally was moved to a large hanger because a tree fell on the other hanger, and the crowd was small because people got lost. The airport authority said no tree fell on any hanger, and the rally was in the hanger it was originally booked in. I know Orlando Airport Authority director personally. He is very conservative R.

She said she was not involved in Grand Jury investigations of illegal campaign contributions, then admitted she had received three certified letters telling her she was involved.

She said she would spend her father's money on campaign, then admitted she wasn't.

She has serious problems with reality. Three sets of campaign staffers have resigned. She cannot win. Nelson will easily go over 60%, possibly even 66%.

I, like others, appreciate so very much her actions in 2000. But other Republicans are not Katherine's problem.

Katherine Harris problem is Katherine Harris.

Pleased to oblige:

Palm Beach Post: Will McBride marching with Immigrants United for Freedom a few short weeks before he filed to run in the Senate race.

One woman in the audience showed the crowd pictures of McBride at a May rally in which he was holding an "Immigrants United for Freedom" sign and walking with American and Mexican flags behind him..."I did speak out on behalf of them." --Sarasota Herald Tribune Aug. 5, 2006

Anti-Israel rally endorsed and co-organized by Immigrants United for Freedom, Code Pink, A.N.S.W.E.R., CAIR, etc. Scroll to end for the full list of leftist organizations.

All of this info is available for those who look for it.
