I believe I would like another source for this story. It's pretty short on facts, and just like the NYT, this story is full of unnamed sources. WHICH official took them on a tour? Who are the agents who are complaining? Did the reporter even talk to anyone a Homeland Security to ask them about this? When did it happen? Why are you--and so many others--reluctant to believe the stupidity of agencies of our gov't?
While I don't have the time (or inclination, as I'm inclined to believe this based upon all of the other PC, idiotic, policies and practices of the DHS) to search and provide you with additional info, I just happen to have this handy.
Maybe you--and others, for whatever reason--won't accept ANYTHING that comes from Worldnetdaily, but how about something that comes directly from CAIR?

Thanks. While I am not willing to underestimate the stupidity of bureaucrats, I am also mistrustful of using WND as a source. They have a history of exagerrating and twisting things for sensational effect.
I wonder why they didn't identify the official?

Seeking to verify a WND story is rational. Their track record isn't the best. That doesn't make us muslim sympathizers - we just want to have good facts before we engage in a full-blown rant. :-)
