"Is a limited nuclear war possible in the Middle East at this point in time and political shell game ?"

Possibly. Depends what Iran does. Biblicaly? I haven't seen anything that says so. It says there will be a nasty war after the period of peace, and much will be destroyed, so possibly. After that war, Kittem, the biblical name for continental USA, will never have influence in the east again.

From the King James:

Isaiah 17:1 The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap.

I should add;

- according to what most prophacy scholars think, we aren't even finnished the secound mid-east war yet, so that period of peace could be a long time away, and the war after that could be a long time after that for all we know.

Or things can be happening faster than we think. Some think it depends on the amount of faith there is on earth which determines how fast prophacy is fullfilled. They base this on the "end of the harvest" scripture. The faster the world rejects God, the sooner the end comes.
